11. For Women to Heal, We Have to Have Community

Tracy Bradshaw has spent two decades developing, implementing and evaluating programming primarily with women and youth. She is an expert in team development, leadership, group dynamics, and experiential learning. Tracy is the CEO of the Boys and Girls Club Collaborative of Western New York and is the co-founder at Women Gathering & Growing with TEA, a women's empowerment business and community that started down a dirt road in rural upstate New York more than 20 years ago.

We talk about sisterhood, motherhood, strengths based leadership, and the patriarchy. Tracy sums up the passion we both have for leadership and building women's communities well: "For women to heal, we have to have community."

Read Tracy's book - a collaborative love letter to the story of building Women Gathering and Growing with TEA that turns into a love letter to their daughters and women at large and while you're at it, sign up for the retreat!
